Mi Casa Grill Cantina at Silverton

Cheapest turkey in town

Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond RdNov 26, 3pm–9pm$29–$45

Two plates, no prix fixe to wade through: herb-roasted turkey with the traditional sides for $29, or a 12-ounce Queen Cut prime rib with au jus and creamy horseradish for $45. Dessert is warm pan de elote with vanilla ice cream, $12.

Order the pan de elote. Sweet corn cake served warm is the closest thing to Thanksgiving cornbread you’ll find on a Mexican menu, and it’s the reason to pick this room over Sundance Grill on the same property. Turkey, prime rib and one dessert to share runs two people $86 before tax and tip.

Sundance Grill at Silverton

Best three-course deal

Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond RdNov 26, 11am–10pm$30

Thirty dollars buys three courses: soup or salad, then rosemary-brined turkey with mashed potatoes, mushroom bread pudding, giblet gravy, green bean casserole and candied yams, then pumpkin or pecan pie.

Brining is the step big holiday kitchens skip when they’re pushing hundreds of plates, and it’s the difference between turkey that holds its moisture and turkey the gravy has to rescue. Mushroom bread pudding in place of boxed stuffing tells you someone in that kitchen cares. The 11am-to-10pm window is the widest on this list, so it’s the easiest table to land if your family can’t agree on a time.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Steakhouse Thanksgiving

Town Square and SummerlinThursday, Nov 26From $64

Fleming’s runs one Thanksgiving prix fixe priced by the entrée: roasted turkey breast for $64, filet mignon for $78, bone-in ribeye for $95. Each comes with a Fleming’s Salad or lobster bisque to start and green beans, and the table shares stuffing, mashed potatoes with turkey gravy and cinnamon-orange cranberry sauce. There’s a children’s three-course menu; the price isn’t posted.

The shared sides are the smart part: half the table can order steak and everyone still eats Thanksgiving. If you’re going turkey anyway, you’re paying steakhouse prices for the room; the filet at $14 more is where this menu makes sense. Hours vary by location, so check when you book.

Ferraro’s Ristorante

Italian Thanksgiving

4480 Paradise RdNov 26, noon–8pm$84, kids $28

Ferraro’s serves a three-course Thanksgiving menu alongside its regular Italian menu. Start with one of five antipasti: burrata with blueberry compote, almonds and arugula; butternut squash ravioli with butter, sage and hazelnuts; a mixed mushroom tart with ricotta; vitello tonnato; or mushroom risotto with mascarpone. Then free-range turkey, breast and dark meat, with gravy, cranberry chutney, sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes and green beans. Dessert is pistachio cannoli, apple pie with vanilla custard, pumpkin pie, tiramisu or passione pistachio.

Plating breast and dark meat together is a cook’s tell: dark meat holds through a long service and breast doesn’t, so this kitchen is planning for the 7pm table, not just the noon one. Order the squash ravioli; brown butter, sage and hazelnut is the most Thanksgiving thing on an Italian menu. Two adults run $168 before tax and tip. Kids 12 and under are $28 and skip the antipasti course.

Reservations are required with a credit card, at (702) 364-5300 or on OpenTable. Dine-in only, no substitutions or sharing, and parties of six to 11 get an 18% gratuity, 12 or more 20%.

After dinner: shows on Thanksgiving weekend

Thanksgiving night and the long weekend

The Modern Showrooms, Alexis ParkNov 26–29375 E. Harmon Ave

Two shows play on Thanksgiving night itself at Alexis Park, a few minutes off the Strip on Harmon: All Shook Up, the Elvis tribute, at 6pm, and All Motown at 7:30pm.
