Cirque du Soleil isn't the only name in town when it comes to Las Vegas shows. Every year, Vegas also hosts its own Broadway season at the acclaimed Smith Center. These iconic shows offer an immersive experience, featuring stunning sets, costumes, and lighting design.
Here are five Broadway shows coming to Vegas in 2024 and 2025.
1. Shrek - The Musical
The Smith CenterShrek is a story that needs no synopsis because many already know and love it. This musical based on the DreamWorks animated film will keep you entertained as you follow the story of the ogre, the princess, and the donkey. 2. The Wiz
The Smith CenterThe Wiz is a re-imagination of The Wizard of Oz in the context of contemporary African-American culture. The last time the show was performed in America was 40 years ago. It features soul, gospel, rock, and 70s music genres and is suitable for the whole family.
Dates: April 1 to 6, 2025.
3. Hamilton
The Smith CenterBe prepared for an epic blend of hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway music as you follow the story of our founding father, Alexander Hamilton. Through the Hamilton show, you will follow his fights for the nation. Hamilton has already won several awards, such as 11 Tony® Awards, the Grammy®, Olivier Awards, and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. 4. & Juliet
