Alice Cooper & Criss Angel Add Dates at Planet Hollywood

The Room and the Résumé

The Criss Angel Theater sits inside Planet Hollywood, the Caesars Entertainment property that anchors that stretch of the Strip with 2,500 remodeled rooms and its own sportsbook run by Caesars Sportsbook. Angel has performed “Mindfreak” in that same theater for years, so the venue isn’t new to him. What’s new is splitting the marquee with a rock act whose stage career started in the late 1960s and never really slowed down.

Cooper built his name on theatrical horror-rock before “shock rock” became a label other people used against him. Songs like “Poison” and “School’s Out” have been arena staples for decades, and “I’m 18” is close to fifty years old at this point. None of that has aged him out of touring. He’s still doing full sets, and this one gets folded into Angel’s illusion work rather than standing alone.

Caesars is billing this as a joint headline, not a Cooper show with a magician bolted on. That means sequencing 90 minutes so the magic doesn’t play like an opening act and the music doesn’t play like a break between tricks.

Ticket Mechanics and VIP Add-Ons

Tickets move through Ticketmaster's dedicated Criss Angel page, the same portal Angel has used for “Mindfreak” ticketing. Phone orders go through (855) 234-7469. The VIP tier is limited in quantity and includes a backstage meet and greet with both Cooper and Angel along with a Nightmare Collectible Package, though specific pricing on those upgrades wasn't broken out in the announcement.

The first five dates sold out before the two additions were announced. Expect November 29 and December 6 to move just as fast.

How This Stacks Up on the Strip

PH Live, the theater’s larger designation within Planet Hollywood, typically rotates through resident headliners and limited engagements. Chippendales runs in its own theater on the same property, and Angel’s solo “Mindfreak” has been a fixture there for years. A five-night limited run pairing two established acts under one ticket is a different model than either of those long-term residencies, closer to a special event booking than a standing show.

Caesars Entertainment operates Planet Hollywood as part of its broader Strip portfolio. Limited-engagement pairings like this one tend to land around holiday travel weeks, and late November into early December covers Thanksgiving week and the run-up to December, both peak visitor stretches on the Strip. Five shows are now packed into a ten-day window, with nine of the original slots already sold before the last two were added.
