Padel's playoff race lands on the Strip: catch the Las Vegas Smash's first home appearance at Park MGM, plus a Bellagio court and a CNBC final on Nov. 21.

Pro Padel League Las Vegas Finale Comes to Dolby Live at Park MGM

The Pro Padel League closes its 2026 regular season at Dolby Live at Park MGM, and the math is unforgiving: 10 teams, eight spots in the Miami finals, four nights to sort it out. The hometown Las Vegas Smash plays in its home market for the first time, and Saturday's final goes national on CNBC.

Pro Padel League Las Vegas: What's on the Line

This is the league’s first tournament in Las Vegas, and it arrives with real consequences. All 10 PPL franchises, from the United States, Canada and Mexico, come to Park MGM still fighting over playoff position. Eight of them advance to the finals in Miami from Dec. 3 to 6. Two go home.

MGM Resorts International is the title sponsor, and the league says the deal is meant to grow into a multi-year relationship. PPL CEO Mike Dorfman called the Vegas stop “a defining moment for our league.” Dan Bernbach, MGM Resorts’ SVP of Entertainment & Sports, Events and Development, framed it as giving sports fans “additional opportunities to engage with one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.”

The timing is deliberate. The league is dropping into a citywide event week that, by PPL’s count, brings more than 300,000 visitors to the Strip. That helps with exposure. It also makes getting around harder, which is covered below.

The PPL was founded in 2023. A league that young drawing a national broadcast window for a regular-season finale tells you how hard it’s pushing.

The Smash Finally Play at Home

The Las Vegas Smash have spent their existence playing everywhere but here. This week changes that. The league is billing it as the franchise’s first competition in its home market, and it’s the best reason for a local to buy a ticket.

The league hasn’t said which nights the Smash are scheduled, so check the matchups before you pick a date. If you want to see the home team, that matters more than anything else in this guide.

Padel, Fast

If your only reference point is pickleball, padel will surprise you. It’s a doubles racket sport played on a smaller court than tennis, enclosed by glass and mesh walls. Serves are underhand and scoring follows tennis. Balls can be played off the walls, which turns points into long, quick exchanges with players digging shots out of corners.

The PPL plays a team format with both men’s and women’s players. The league crowns men’s, women’s and team champions at the finals.

My brother-in-law has spent two years trying to talk his pickleball group into switching. I’m sending him to this.

Dolby Live vs. Bellagio Fountain Walk

The two events run on the same four nights, but they are built for different people.

Dolby Live at Park MGM is the main event. It has the ticketed competition, the standings pressure and the CNBC final. If you care who makes Miami, this is where you need to be. I’ve covered a lot of nights in that room, and none with a racket in it. A theater-sized venue should put most seats close enough to follow the ball off the glass.

The Bellagio Fountain Walk court is a dedicated exhibition court featuring top players from all 10 teams, including the Smash. The league describes the activations there as available to Bellagio Fountain Club guests. It hasn’t said what’s open to anyone strolling by, so don’t plan your evening around casual access. If you already have Fountain Club access, it’s a strong add-on. If you don’t, treat whatever you can see from the walkway as a bonus.

The Nights to Circle

Saturday, Nov. 21: the final. Competition peaks on the last night, and the final match airs nationally on CNBC. Expect the fullest building and the loudest crowd. Buy this one early.

Whichever night the Smash play. A first home appearance happens only once. Check the schedule and build your trip around it.

Wednesday, Nov. 18: the opener. Every team arrives with something to protect or chase. With eight of 10 teams qualifying, early results shape everything after. If you’re a local who wants to try padel without the weekend crush, this is a sensible night.

Bellagio, any night. Elite players on a court beside the fountains is an unusual setting. It’s worth it if your access allows.

Pro Padel League Las Vegas Tickets and the Game-Day Plan

Tickets for all four Dolby Live nights are on sale now at Ticketmaster. The league hasn’t announced prices, door times or a bag policy. As of Oct. 23, nothing beyond the 7 p.m. start was posted. I’d rather not find out door times the day before, so check the event listing the week of and screenshot what you find.

Plan around the crowds. With 300,000-plus visitors expected on the Strip that week, a 7 p.m. start means leaving earlier than you think:

  • Staying at an MGM property near Park MGM? Walk. It will almost certainly beat a car in event-week traffic.
  • Coming from farther away? Give yourself extra time and expect long rideshare pickups after the final match. Walking to a nearby resort entrance before calling a car usually beats waiting with the whole crowd at the main door.
  • Driving? Check parking options before you leave home. Don’t count on circling for a spot that week.
  • Doing both venues? Park MGM and Bellagio are close enough to pair in one night. The exhibition court and the tournament share the same 7 p.m. listing, though, so you’ll have to pick which one gets your prime-time hours.

Can't Get a Seat? Watch on CNBC or YouTube

Saturday’s final airs nationally on CNBC, so a sports book or resort bar with a spare screen can work. The league also streams matches on its YouTube channel, and propadelleague.com is the place to check schedules and standings. Find the nearest TV and settle in for Saturday’s final if the arena sells out.

For one night, choose Saturday. For two, add the Smash’s first home match. The Bellagio court is a nice extra, but the playoff race is at Park MGM.
