West, North, East, South: What Each Bed Holds
The West Bed has a Coastal New England-style cabin with a campfire, a kid named Billy fishing with his dog, and dragonflies over water colored in amber and copper tones. That’s also where The Garden Table sits, tucked inside the cabin itself, looking out at Billy and the rest of the scene while you eat.
The North Bed has a mama bear and cub sculpted from manzanita and driftwood — 8,300 pounds of the stuff went into the wood animals across the whole display, according to the Conservatory’s own count. There’s a bass leaping from the pond nearby, covered in 7,500 capiz shells, plus waterfalls and the heirloom pumpkins, some of which run close to that 687-pound top weight.
East Bed is calmer: a frog-and-lily-pad pond scene with lotus flowers and fountains moving through papyrus plants. South Bed goes with herons and a buck worked into cattails and wildflowers, with a stream running through it.
Add it up and the horticulture team used 500,000 autumn-colored leaves and 37,800 flowers and plants to build the whole thing, plus 400 corn husks just for Billy’s shirt. Four frogs. Two herons. One bear. It’s a lot of counting for a free garden display, but Bellagio publishes the tally every season, and this year’s numbers are bigger than the pumpkin.

The Garden Table, If You Want to Eat Inside the Display
If you want to sit inside the cabin scene rather than just walk past it, that’s where The Garden Table comes in. It’s a reservation-only setup with Sadelle's handling breakfast and brunch at $135 per person, and Michael Mina Bellagio running dinner at $210 per person. You book by calling 702-693-7075 or going through Bellagio's website. The table itself requires a reservation — the Conservatory is free and open around the clock, but sitting at The Garden Table inside the cabin is a paid, separate experience from just viewing the display.
For comparison, that’s roughly the same price range as a tasting menu at one of the Strip’s better steakhouses, except you're eating next to a sculpted fisherman and his dog instead of at a regular table.
Golden Hour, If You Have MGM Rewards
MGM Resorts is also running two after-hours sessions this fall for Gold, Platinum, and NOIR-tier MGM Rewards members. Golden Hour happens October 16 and December 18, from 4 to 6 p.m., and includes complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The catch: Bellagio closes the Conservatory to the general public from 3 to 6:30 p.m. on those two dates to run it. If you're planning a regular visit around mid-October or mid-December, those windows are worth checking before you show up expecting the gardens open.
Where the Water Comes From
The water running through the Conservatory‘s ponds and waterfalls comes from on-site underground wells, not the municipal supply — captured rain and recycled water from the resort, reused within the exhibit and elsewhere at Bellagio. When each seasonal display comes down, the plant material that’s no longer viable gets pulled and sent to a local composting facility instead of a landfill. Bellagio says this keeps thousands of pounds of organic waste out of the regional waste stream annually.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Bellagio Conservatory free to visit?
Yes. It’s open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at no cost. There’s no ticket, no reservation required just to walk through and see the display.
How do I book The Garden Table inside the fall display?
Call 702-693-7075 or book through Bellagio’s website. Reservations are required — you can’t walk up and get seated. Brunch from Sadelle's is $135 per person and dinner from Michael Mina Bellagio is $210 per person.
What is Golden Hour at the Conservatory?
It's a members-only after-hours access period for Gold, Platinum, and NOIR MGM Rewards members, with complimentary drinks included. This fall it happens twice — October 16 and December 18, both from 4 to 6 p.m.
Will the Conservatory be closed to the public during Golden Hour?
Yes, on those two specific dates. The Conservatory closes to regular visitors from 3 to 6:30 p.m. on October 16 and December 18 to accommodate the members-only event.
How long does the fall display stay up?
Bellagio hasn't published an exact end date beyond noting it runs through the fall season. Seasonal Conservatory displays typically get replaced ahead of the winter holiday installation, so plan a visit sooner rather than later if you want to see the autumn scene specifically.
