Luke Combs' Category 10 at Flamingo Las Vegas: 12 Things to Know

Ribs, Hurricane cocktails, a bourbon speakeasy and a Strip-view rooftop: what to expect at Luke Combs' new three-story country bar at Flamingo Las Vegas.

Luke Combs' Category 10 at Flamingo Las Vegas: 12 Things to Know

Luke Combs' Category 10 Las Vegas opened at the Flamingo on Thursday, Oct. 15. It's a three-story country bar that wants to be your dinner, your dance floor and your bourbon nightcap, all under one roof.

This guide is for country fans, birthday tables and bachelorette crews. It runs in the order you'll need it: where it is, opening weekend, the food and drinks, and then every floor.

Quick Facts

  • What: Luke Combs’ Category 10 Las Vegas, a bar, restaurant, live music venue and line-dancing spot
  • Where: Flamingo Las Vegas, 3555 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109
  • When: Opened Oct. 15, 2026. Hours are 11 a.m. until close.
  • Opening weekend: Through Sunday, Oct. 18, with TJ Favella, Desert Heat and DJ Eric Rhodes
  • Cost: Food prices, drink prices and the cover policy haven’t been announced. Line-dancing lessons are free.
  • Worth knowing: Opry Entertainment owns and operates it. It’s the second Category 10, after Nashville.

1. Luke Combs' Bar in Las Vegas Is at the Flamingo, in the Old Margaritaville

Category 10 takes over the three-story Flamingo space that was Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. That spot closed in 2024. I closed out more than one friend’s birthday in this building, so I’m very curious to see how much of the old room survived the makeover.

It was developed with Opry Entertainment Group and Caesars Entertainment. The space covers three stories and 34,000 square feet, with 800 seats. Inside are seven bars, two live-music stages and a retail shop. There’s also a hat wall that mixes caps from Combs’ personal collection with hats sent in by fans.

The name comes from Combs’ breakout single, “Hurricane.” The original Category 10 sits at 2nd and Broadway in Nashville. A third location is expected at Universal Orlando’s CityWalk in 2028.

2. Opening Weekend Runs Through Sunday, Oct. 18

Doors opened at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15. Bootmaker Dingo planned to raffle five pairs of boots among the first 50 guests. Nobody has reported who walked out with them yet.

The opening lineup through Sunday is TJ Favella, Desert Heat and DJ Eric Rhodes. Free line-dancing lessons are on the schedule too. Set times for each act haven’t been posted, so check category10.com before you plan your night around one of them.

Now the question every fan asks. Will Luke Combs show up? Nobody has confirmed an appearance, and none of the announcements said he would perform. He did tour the construction site on March 22, 2026, before his Allegiant Stadium concert. Kicks99 quoted him saying, “When this place opens, I know people are going to say, ‘Wow!’” That is a promise about the room, not a promise that he’ll be in it. Go for the bar, and treat a Combs sighting as a bonus.

  • Best for: Fans who want the opening energy and free lessons before the crowds settle into a routine

3. The Food Is Carolina Smoke and Southern Coastal Plates

This is a restaurant first, and the menu has a point of view. Category 10 calls it “Carolina-style eats” and describes Southern coastal food made by chefs. The kitchen cooks from scratch, and the menu leans on Combs’ Appalachian roots.

The dishes reported so far start with Carolina smoked ribs and Deep Sea Señorita shrimp skewers. There’s also a Smoky Mountain chicken sandwich. The Carolina barbecue chicken flatbread rounds it out. If I’m splitting plates with a group, I’m starting with the ribs and the shrimp and letting the table fight over the flatbread.

Prices haven’t been published. When Vegas411 reported on the menu, no food prices were listed. Budget like you’re eating on the Strip and you won’t get surprised.

4. Four Signature Cocktails, All in Souvenir Cups

The signature drinks come in souvenir cups, and a couple borrow their names from Combs’ songs. Here’s what’s in each:

  • Hurricane: Bacardi Silver Rum and Ole Smoky Hunch Punch, with passion fruit purée, fresh lemon and lime, orange juice and grenadine
  • Beautiful Crazy Sangria: House red wine, Grand Marnier and Mr. Boston Blackberry Brandy, with fresh lemon, lime and sangria fruit
  • Ain’t No Love: Wheatley Vodka, Aperol and Owen’s Watermelon Chili, with fresh lime and club soda
  • GHOST Purple Skies: Tito’s Handmade Vodka and GHOST Energy “OG” Original, with Owen’s Prickly Pear and fresh lime

There are frozen drinks with and without alcohol, plus beer and wine. The Hurricane is the obvious first round, since the whole bar is named after the song. Official drink prices haven’t been posted. I’ve seen an unofficial estimate floating around, and I’m not repeating it until the venue confirms.

  • Price: Not yet announced

5. Hurricane Hall Is Dinner With a Dance Floor in the Middle

Hurricane Hall is the first-floor main dining hall, and it’s the heart of the place. It has three bars, a central stage and a dance floor, plus a full light-and-sound production. Live music runs daily, and the free line-dancing lessons happen here.

This is where the dinner-and-a-show idea lives. You eat, the band plays, and at some point your table gets pulled onto the floor. My friend Dani treats a line-dancing lesson like a competitive sport, so this is the room I’m bringing her to.

The regular music lineup after opening weekend hasn’t been published. Expect live music daily, but don’t count on a specific act until it’s posted.

  • Where: First floor
  • Best for: Groups who want to eat and dance without changing venues

6. The Best Lounge Might Be in the Women's Restroom

The Beautiful Crazy Women’s Lounge sits inside the first-floor women’s restroom. It has a champagne bar, soft seating, makeup counters and Hollywood vanity mirrors.

I love this for bachelorette groups. Touch-ups, a glass of champagne and a sit-down break from your boots, all without leaving the building. The materials don’t say whether there’s a separate drink menu or pricing in here.

  • Where: First floor, inside the women’s restroom
  • Best for: Bachelorettes, birthday girls and anyone whose feet already hurt

7. The Still Is the Bourbon Speakeasy for the Bootleggers

Upstairs, The Still is a bourbon speakeasy built around Combs’ Bootleggers Fan Club. The bourbons were hand-selected by Combs. You look down on the main stage from here, and an outdoor patio next door has city views.

It’s small. It seats 30, or holds 50 for a reception. The announcements tie it to the fan club, but they don’t say whether you need a membership to get in. Ask at the host stand before you climb the stairs.

  • Where: Second floor
  • Best for: Bourbon drinkers and anyone who wants the show without the dance floor

8. The Eye Rooftop Brings the DJ and the Strip View

The third floor is The Eye Rooftop, a covered rooftop of about 3,000 square feet. It has a DJ booth, a dance floor and a bar, with views of the Strip.

This is the floor for the crowd that wants country energy with a club feel. The rooftop’s DJ schedule hasn’t been announced, so check before you head up expecting a specific set.

  • Where: Third floor
  • Best for: Late-night dancing with a view

9. Hurricane Bar Is the Walk-Up for a Drink on the Go

Hurricane Bar is a walk-up counter facing The LINQ Promenade and Las Vegas Blvd. It serves frozen and signature cocktails.

This is your move if you’re walking the Strip and want a frozen drink in a souvenir cup without sitting down for dinner. It’s also a cheap way to scout the place before you commit a whole night to it, assuming cheap is on the menu. Prices haven’t been posted here either.

  • Where: Street-facing, by The LINQ Promenade
  • Best for: A quick drink between stops

10. Cover, Age Limits and Dress Code Are Still Unconfirmed

Category 10 hasn’t published a cover policy, an age limit or a dress code. The official site doesn’t mention a cover. A third-party site claims a door charge, but nothing from the venue backs it up, so I wouldn’t plan around it.

What’s confirmed is that the line-dancing lessons are free and the doors open at 11 a.m. If you’re bringing anyone under 21, or you’re worried about a door charge on a busy night, check category10.com or call ahead. I hate a policy that shows up only after you’ve reached the front of the line, and you should too.

11. Big Groups Can Book One of Five Event Spaces

Category 10 offers private events across three floors, indoors and out. Here’s how many people each space holds:

  • Main dining room, first floor: 300 seated, 500 standing
  • Private dining room, first floor: 70 seated, 100 standing
  • Patio, first floor: 40 seated, 60 standing
  • Mezzanine, second floor: 150 seated, 200 standing
  • The Still, second floor: 30 seated, 50 standing

For a bachelorette party of 15 or so, The Still or the patio is the sweet spot. Pricing and minimums for private bookings haven’t been published, so get the full number in writing before anyone signs.

12. Two Giveaways Before Halloween

The Las Vegas Getaway Sweepstakes is open nationally through 11:59 p.m. Central Time on Oct. 31. The prize is round-trip airfare, two nights at Flamingo Las Vegas and a VIP dinner for two at Category 10.

New Las Vegas merchandise is sold at category10.com. Through opening weekend, orders of $60 or more come with a free commemorative poster, according to the Caesars newsroom. That deal ends with the grand opening on Sunday, Oct. 18.

If you only do one thing, go for dinner in Hurricane Hall, take the free lesson and finish with a bourbon in The Still. That covers most of the building in one night.
