Sting 3.0 Las Vegas Residency Hits Caesars Palace Colosseum in 2027
Get Sting 3.0 tickets: fan club, Caesars Rewards and Live Nation presales open Oct. 14-15 before the Oct. 17 sale. Opening night in Vegas lands March 4, 2027.
Three musicians, one stage built for Celine Dion. When Sting brings "Sting 3.0" to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on March 4, 2027, he's betting that a guitar, a drum kit and that voice can fill 4,300 seats. After two decades of watching this town reward overkill, I love the nerve of it.

Less Band, More Sting
The Cherrytree Music Company, Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment announced the residency on Tuesday, Oct. 13. It follows Sting's “Sting 3.0” World Tour, and the concept is right there in the lineup.
Two people share the stage with him. Dominic Miller is his longtime guitarist, the kind of player whose parts you've hummed for years without knowing his name. Chris Maas handles drums, arriving with credits behind Mumford & Sons and Maggie Rogers. The promoters call it a “lean, explosive three-piece” built to put the full weight on Sting’s voice and songwriting.
Fans of The Police will recognize the math. Sting made his name as frontman, bassist and principal songwriter of a trio, so this format is a homecoming of sorts. The material is different, though: a whole solo career’s worth of songs pulled apart and rebuilt for three people.
The Room Is the Gamble
Most Colosseum residencies treat the stage like a blank check: dancers, LED walls, costume changes, a horn section waiting in the wings. A trio in that room flips the usual Vegas equation. Every arrangement has to hold up without anything to hide behind.
This is the same appetite for hearing a legend up close that keeps people buying tickets to small rooms, only on a stage scaled for a superstar. If the reinventions land, 4,300 seats will feel like a club. If they don’t, it will feel like a lot of empty air around three people.
My bet is on the former. Sting has always been a songwriter who likes to tinker, and that’s the whole point of “3.0.” It's hard to imagine him signing up for a second Colosseum run without something new to show the room.
The Live Album Shows Its Hand
You don't have to guess what this sounds like. The tour produced a live album, STING 3.0 LIVE, recorded on the road and out now digitally, on CD and on 180g vinyl.
The 10-song digital edition is a greatest-hits collection with two tracks worth singling out. “Be Still My Beating Heart” appears in a live version for the first time ever. There’s also a live “Fragile,” his 1987 single, which found a new generation after a children’s choir covered it in an episode of the Netflix miniseries Adolescence.
That “Fragile” moment is the kind of pop-culture second wind that can quietly reshape a setlist. I'd expect plenty of people discovering the song through a TV drama to be sitting next to fans who bought it the first time around. That mix in the audience is half the fun.

Sting 3.0 Tickets, Presales and Show Dates
There are three ways to get Sting 3.0 tickets, and the order matters:
- Sting.com fan club presale: Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. PT through Friday, Oct. 16, at 10 p.m. PT. Membership details are at sting.com/subscribe.
- Caesars Rewards and Live Nation presale: Thursday, Oct. 15, at 10 a.m. PT through Friday, Oct. 16, at 10 p.m. PT.
- General public: Saturday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. PT.
All tickets and VIP packages are sold through Ticketmaster or in person at The Colosseum box office. Pricing hadn't been announced at the time of writing.
The 11 shows come in two clusters. March 2027: Thursday, March 4 (opening night), plus March 6, 7, 10 and 12. October 2027: October 14, 16, 17, 20, 22 and 23. Every show starts at 8 p.m.
The seven-month gap between legs is useful for trip planning. Spring-break travelers and fall visitors each get a window. My advice: if you’re already a Caesars Rewards member, use the Thursday presale rather than gambling on Saturday’s free-for-all.
Back for a Second Run After "My Songs"
This is a return engagement. Sting’s previous Colosseum residency, “My Songs,” racked up 22 sold-out performances between 2021 and 2023. That track record explains why Caesars wanted him back.
The titles tell you something about the shift. “My Songs” sounds like a victory lap through the catalog. “3.0” sounds like a software update, the same code rewritten to run differently. For a 17-time GRAMMY winner with 100 million albums sold across his solo work and The Police, choosing revision over a straight greatest-hits run is a statement.
He’s also staying busy. In 2026 he's starring in his Tony-nominated musical, The Last Ship, on a limited international tour. He also released The Night Watch: Live at the Rijksmuseum, an intimate performance of hits and songs from the show recorded at the Amsterdam museum. The man is clearly in a stripped-down, close-up mood, and Vegas gets the benefit.
My prediction: 11 dates won't be the final count. A 22-show sellout streak last time, plus a format that works in a smaller footprint, makes added dates a reasonable bet if the March leg moves fast.
Who Should Go (and Where I'd Sit)
Go if you love hearing great songs taken apart and rebuilt, you’re a guitar nerd who wants to watch Dominic Miller work, or you’ve seen enough production shows to crave something with no safety net.
Skip it if you want fireworks and costume changes. This is a musicianship show in a spectacle venue, and it’s selling the songs, not the scenery.
On seats: with only three people on stage, sightlines matter more than proximity. I’d take a centered seat with a clear view of the whole band over an off-angle seat a few rows closer. In a trio, half the pleasure is watching three players listen to each other.
Make a night of it at Caesars Palace beforehand; the resort has enough dining to keep you busy until the 8 p.m. curtain. Then go hear what happens when a songwriter this good strips his catalog to the frame.
