Tim McGraw Adds Five 2027 Shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace
Five more nights of Tim McGraw at Caesars Palace in May 2027. Fan presales open Nov. 5 before the Nov. 9 on-sale, so here's how to beat the rush for seats.
Tim McGraw's 2026 tour took him to Fenway Park and Target Field. In May 2027 he will play five nights in a theater at Caesars Palace. The Colosseum is a big room by any standard but one, and that standard is the reason to buy a ticket: for a singer who fills stadiums, this is as close as his songs will get to you.

Tim McGraw at The Colosseum: A Stadium Act Indoors
Most residency announcements frame the Colosseum as a step up. For McGraw it is a step closer. This is a performer who, by the account of his own camp, has been one of the biggest touring artists in country music’s history. In 2019 he played to the largest outdoor crowd Nashville had ever seen, at the NFL Draft. When the announcement calls these “intimate” shows, it is measuring against that scale. For once the word is accurate.
That matters because of the kind of songs McGraw is known for. “Don’t Take the Girl,” “Live Like You Were Dying” and “Humble and Kind” are not anthems built to carry across a ballpark. They are small stories, told mostly in the verses, and they work best when you can see the face of the person telling them. A stadium turns those songs into singalongs. A theater gives you a chance to hear them as they were written.
The format is spelled out: hits and fan favorites across three decades, and only in Las Vegas. Nobody has published a set list. With a catalog this deep, the interesting question is not whether you’ll hear the songs you came for. It is which ones he’ll bring forward in a room where quiet is possible.
Thirty Years of Songs, and a Hall of Fame Year
The timing tells you something. McGraw was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026, and he announced this return shortly after. A retrospective show by a newly enshrined artist can easily become a victory lap. It is worth noticing that he keeps choosing a theater for it instead.
The career behind it is long enough to need the room. Since the early ’90s it has produced 49 number one singles. Along the way came acting work in “Friday Night Lights,” “The Blind Side” and the Yellowstone prequel 1883, where he starred opposite Sam Elliott and his wife, Faith Hill. That spread means the audience will span ages. Some will know him from 1883 first, and some will remember buying the cassettes.
I belong to the second group by proxy. My older sister wore out a copy of the album with “Don’t Take the Girl” on it in our family’s car one summer. I can still finish the second verse without meaning to. Any show built on a catalog lives or dies by moments like that, when a room full of strangers finds out they all know the same lines.

Tim McGraw Las Vegas Tickets and the Presale Calendar
Tickets for all five shows are sold through Ticketmaster. The general on-sale begins Monday, Nov. 9, 2026, at 10 a.m. PT. Ticket prices have not been announced. Since the 2026 run sold out, the presales are the real first round, and the order is worth knowing:
- McGrawONE+ fan club: presale from Thursday, Nov. 5, at 10 a.m. PT
- Citi cardmembers: presale from Thursday, Nov. 5, at 10 a.m. PT until Sunday, Nov. 8, at 10 p.m. PT, through the Citi Entertainment program. Details are at citientertainment.com. Citi is the official card of the engagement.
- Caesars Rewards members and Live Nation All Access customers: presale from Friday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. PT
All presales end Sunday, Nov. 8, at 10 p.m. PT. If you already belong to Caesars Rewards because you stay at Caesars properties, that membership costs nothing extra here. It gets you in a day before the general public, though a day after the fan club and Citi cardholders.
Fan club information is on timmcgraw.com. Be wary of resale listings that appear before Monday, Nov. 9. Buy from the official channels first.
Choosing Your Night
The five dates fall over two weekends, and they are not interchangeable.
The first weekend, Friday, May 21, and Saturday, May 22, is an ordinary late-May weekend in Las Vegas. The second weekend runs Thursday, May 27, through Saturday, May 29, and it is Memorial Day weekend, with the holiday falling on Monday, May 31. Expect that stretch to draw the heaviest crowds and the highest room rates of the engagement. It may also be the hardest to get tickets for.
Thursday, May 27, is the date I would look at first. It is the only weeknight show. It sits at the front of a holiday weekend, so you could catch McGraw and be home before the crowds peak. And Thursday audiences in this town are often the ones who planned the trip around the show rather than fitting the show into the trip. That tends to make for a better room.
Where to Sit in The Colosseum
The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is wide, and that shape should guide your choice more than the usual instinct to get as close as you can afford. For a singer whose best material lives in small gestures and lyrics, a centered seat further back usually beats a close seat at the far edge, where you see the stage at an angle and the performer in profile.
So if your budget forces a choice, give up distance before you give up the center. The floor is where the energy is for the up-tempo hits. The ballads will land wherever you can see his face, and in a room built for headliners, that covers more seats than the price chart suggests.
Caesars has not published a run time or an age policy for these dates. Check the Ticketmaster listing for both before you book, especially if you’re bringing a teenager who came to McGraw through 1883.
Getting to Caesars Palace
The Colosseum sits inside Caesars Palace, on the Strip at Flamingo Road. Self-parking and valet are available at the resort, but rates and policies change, so check with Caesars before you drive. On a Memorial Day weekend Saturday, the traffic near Flamingo will cost you more time than the parking will cost you money. If you are staying anywhere within walking distance, walk, and leave earlier than you think you need to. The route from the casino floor to the theater is longer than it looks, and Caesars was not designed to help you leave.
For most readers who see one big show per trip and want it to be a sure thing, this engagement is an easy recommendation. That’s not because McGraw is a safe headliner, although he is. It’s because the Colosseum gives his catalog something his stadium tours can’t: a room small enough for the quiet songs to work.
