The PRINCE Controversy, Sunday, September 20
Rocklesque opens its run at The Modern Showrooms at Alexis Park Resort Hotel with The PRINCE Controversy on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 9:00 PM. The producers' pitch is blunt: Prince turned all the way up, sensual, provocative and completely unapologetic, and not a polite tribute concert.
A rock music collides with burlesque and aerial artistry on the hits that defined a generation: "Purple Rain," "Kiss," "Little Red Corvette," "When Doves Cry," "1999," "Let's Go Crazy" and more, each number built around what made Prince a legend, the music, the style, the danger and the sex appeal. In the producers' own words, every song becomes a fever dream of skin, silk, sweat and swagger.
Dress code: Prince-coded
Purple, lace, leather, ruffles, velvet. There is a costume contest, and the boldest look in the house takes the crown. Every ticket includes free parking and the night itself; VIP tickets add premium seating and a Prince gift exclusive to VIP guests.
Prince is familiar ground for this company. The Prince Burlesque Experience was one of the original productions Rocklesque staged during its monthly run around the city before this move, and this night is the first time the series plays a dedicated Las Vegas showroom. The show is a burlesque celebration of the music of Prince and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Prince estate.
