Kid-Friendly Shows in Las Vegas (2026): The Best Family Shows and Their Age Limits
The best Las Vegas shows for kids and families in 2026, with each venue's age limit and showtimes, plus the family shows that have closed. Checked September 2
Las Vegas has more all-ages shows than its reputation suggests. The hard part is age limits, which vary from "any age on a lap" to "6 and over", and knowing which of the family shows you remember are still running. These are the ones playing now, with each venue's own age rule.

America – The Show
Our pick for families
A Vegas-style variety show built around America's 250th birthday: powerhouse vocalists, showgirl dancers and comedy, working through the great American songbook from "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" to "Viva Las Vegas" to Neil Diamond's "America", with stops in Georgia, Texas, Chicago and San Francisco on the way. It runs 75 minutes, and it has been extended by popular demand.
The producers recommend it for ages 5 and up and welcome all ages. It is a sing-along crowd, the songs are ones grandparents know every word of, and the 4pm curtain gets everyone out in time for dinner. Just off the Strip on Harmon Avenue, with free parking.
Sir Elton
Best for music-loving families
Elton John played his last Las Vegas residency show in 2018 and his farewell tour closed in 2023, so this is how you hear "Your Song", "Tiny Dancer", "Bennie and the Jets", "Rocket Man" and "Crocodile Rock" live in Vegas now. Jeff Burkett stars as Elton and plays the piano himself, with a live drummer and vocalist Amanda Lee Meyers, in an intimate showroom where the back row is closer than the front section of most Strip theatres.
No pyrotechnics, no backing tracks and no massive stage, so it suits children who find the big Strip productions too loud. It runs about 70 minutes and is open to all ages. Sundays at 5pm from October 18, Mondays at 7pm and some Tuesdays at 7pm.

Motown Brunch
Best Sunday morning
A live Motown show performed by a full cast while you eat, from the producers of All Motown: The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations and The Jackson 5. Every ticket includes an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet (scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, chicken tenders, pasta, fruit, filet medallions and cookies). Doors open at 11am and the show runs about 90 minutes. Drinks with alcohol are extra.
Chicken tenders and pasta on the buffet solve the "what will the kids eat" problem, and tables seat four family-style, so book together if you want to sit together.
Mystère by Cirque du Soleil
Best for the youngest
Clowns, acrobatics and no spoken story to follow, 90 minutes with no intermission. Children under one sit on a lap for free; everyone else needs a ticket. Treasure Island offers discounted tickets for under-12s. Expect loud moments, darkness and some strobe.
Blue Man Group
Best for 3 and up
Wordless music, paint and slapstick, 90 to 105 minutes. Children 3 and under can sit on a lap without a ticket. Blue Man also runs an annual sensory-friendly performance. From $68.36 including taxes and fees.
Popovich Comedy Pet Theater
Best for animal lovers
More than 25 rescued shelter animals doing stunts, about 70 minutes, with a meet-and-greet afterwards. Infants go free on a lap. Days vary by week.
Tournament of Kings
Dinner and a joust
Knights jousting on real horses while you eat a dinner served without cutlery. The audience is split into countries, each cheering its own knight. Excalibur's calendar has the nights and times.
The Wizard of Oz at Sphere
Best for 6 and up
The film reworked for Sphere's wraparound screen with 4D effects, about 75 minutes. Intended for ages 6 and up, and every guest needs a ticket.
KÀ by Cirque du Soleil
Best Cirque matinee
A martial-arts adventure on a stage that tilts to vertical, 90 minutes. Children under 3 are not admitted and under-18s must be with an adult. The weekend 4:30pm show is the only daytime Cirque curtain in town.
"O" by Cirque du Soleil
Best for older children
Acrobats and divers on a stage that turns into a pool, 90 minutes. The minimum age is 5, and Cirque warns that loud sound and periods of darkness can frighten some children.
Michael Jackson ONE
Best for pop fans
Cirque du Soleil's dance and acrobatics show set to Michael Jackson's music, 90 minutes. Children under 5 are not admitted and under-16s must be with an adult.
Jabbawockeez: FRQNCY
Best for teenagers
The masked hip-hop dance crew's new show, which opened in October 2025. No dialogue, lots of comedy, and the one teenagers are most likely to ask for.
Magic shows for kids
Magic is its own category. The two best for families are Mac King at Excalibur (Tuesday to Saturday at 3pm, ages 5+) and Mat Franco at The LINQ (7pm, all ages). We rank all nine, with the ones to skip, in kid-friendly magic shows in Las Vegas.
More all-ages shows at Alexis Park
Every show at The Modern Showrooms at Alexis Park is open to all ages, just off the Strip with free parking:
- All Shook Up, an Elvis tribute with a live band, nightly at 6pm.
- All Motown, Tuesday to Thursday and weekends at 7:30pm.
- Queen Selena, a Selena tribute, Friday to Sunday at 7pm.
