Afternoon Shows in Las Vegas (2026): Every Show That Starts Before 6pm

Every Las Vegas show with a curtain before 6pm, checked September 2026: days, times, ages and prices, plus which afternoon shows have closed or moved.

Afternoon Shows in Las Vegas (2026): Every Show That Starts Before 6pm

An afternoon show is the most underused trick in Las Vegas: you are indoors during the hottest part of the day, tickets are usually cheaper than the evening headliners, and your night is still free. These are the shows with a curtain before 6pm this fall, with the days, ages and prices each venue gives.

The short answer: Sunday is the best afternoon in town. Motown Brunch at 11am, America – The Show at 4pm, KÀ at 4:30pm and Sir Elton at 5pm (from October 18) can fill a whole day. On weekdays, Mac King at 3pm (Tuesday to Saturday) is the classic.

For today's daytime showtimes with live prices, see Las Vegas matinee and afternoon shows on Sin City Seats.

America – The Show

America – The Show

Our pick for a weekend afternoon

The Modern Showrooms, Alexis ParkSat & Sun, 4pm75 minutes

A Vegas-style variety show built around America's 250th birthday: powerhouse vocalists, showgirl dancers and comedy, working through the great American songbook from "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" to "Viva Las Vegas" to Neil Diamond's "America", with stops in Georgia, Texas, Chicago and San Francisco on the way. It runs 75 minutes, and it has been extended by popular demand.

It plays Saturdays and Sundays at 4pm, just off the Strip at Alexis Park on Harmon Avenue with free parking, which makes it the easiest way to fill a weekend afternoon without giving up your evening.

Sir Elton

Sir Elton

New Sunday 5pm show

The Modern Showrooms, Alexis ParkSundays 5pm from Oct 18All ages

Elton John played his last Las Vegas residency show in 2018 and his farewell tour closed in 2023, so this is how you hear "Your Song", "Tiny Dancer", "Bennie and the Jets", "Rocket Man" and "Crocodile Rock" live in Vegas now. Jeff Burkett stars as Elton and plays the piano himself, with a live drummer and vocalist Amanda Lee Meyers, in an intimate showroom where the back row is closer than the front section of most Strip theatres.

From October 18 it adds a Sunday 5pm performance, so you can pair it with a weekend matinee and still have the night free. Evening shows continue Mondays at 7pm and some Tuesdays. About 70 minutes, all ages, free parking.
