For me, there’s nothing better than dining in a restaurant, like Letty’s de Leticia’s Cocina, that represents the heart and soul of a city. I always enter this Mexican eatery in the Arts District on Main St north of Charleston with a smile and leave with an even bigger smile.
I’m mad for their empanadas, not to mention the zesty, colorful shrimp taco and a chile relleno that’s distinctively served on a tortilla. The Guy Fieri-approved Letty’s, notably featured in 2023 on his “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” show, is open all day until 9pm and on Friday-Saturday until 10pm. There’s free and easy pull-in parking in their lot.

Definitely one of the crown jewels in our city. (Image: Vegas 411)
Letty’s is housed in a building from the 1930’s that was originally a private home before becoming one of the oldest Mexican restaurants in Vegas, El Sombrero Cafe, the original sign of which has been lovingly preserved. Just look up—you’ll see it outside and feel like it’s hugging you.
